Proud to Honour Our Young Innovators: LEAP Schools Make GSTEP 2025 Top 50!
We are proud to honour a remarkable achievement by our students — two teams from LEAP Schools have been named among the Top 50 teams in the highly competitive GSTEP 2025 Challenge, rising above over 1,500 teams from across the country.
This recognition is a powerful testament to the spirit of innovation, purpose, and teamwork we cultivate at LEAP.
The LEAP IDEA Squads developed a wearable device designed to support neonates — an intelligent, life-enhancing solution aimed at improving newborn care through early detection and monitoring. Their project demonstrates the intersection of compassion and technology to solve real-world health challenges.
The LEAP WIM Girls, our all-girls innovation team, engineered an electrocoagulation device aimed at treating wastewater effectively. Their solution addresses a critical environmental need and reflects the power of girls in STEM leading sustainable change.
At LEAP, we are not just raising students — we are nurturing problem-solvers, creators, and leaders who dare to think differently and act boldly.
We salute our LEAP IDEA Squads and LEAP WIM Girls for their hard work, resilience, and ingenuity. You have made LEAP, Obuasi, and Ghana proud!
