LEAP School Honors 106 Graduands at 6th Graduation Ceremony

The LEAP School in Obuasi proudly celebrated its 6th Graduation and Awards Ceremony, honoring the achievements of  106 outstanding graduands under the inspiring theme “Limitless Possibilities.” Held on the school premises, the event was a joyful occasion that highlighted the dedication of students, teachers, and parents alike.

This year’s graduating class included:

11 students transitioning from Class 6 to Form 1
39 students moving from Class 3 to Class 4
5 students moving from Class 6 to 7

In his welcome address, Mr. Aboagye Ohene Adu, Director of LEAP School, reaffirmed the school’s unwavering commitment to diversity, inclusivity, and student well-being, even amidst the broader challenges facing Ghana’s education system.

Mrs. Angela Asenso Obeng, Headmistress of LEAP School, expounded on the theme “Limitless Possibilities,” encouraging students to embrace the vast opportunities ahead of them. She urged the graduands to believe in themselves, remain grounded in their values, and continue striving for excellence.

Guest speaker Mr. George Alfred Koomson, Obuasi Municipal Director of Education, commended the graduands for their resilience and hard work. He emphasized the transformative power of education, noting that it equips learners with the skills to think critically, adapt, and lead with confidence.

The event also recognized and rewarded dedicated teachers and supportive parents, whose sacrifices and commitment continue to shape the school’s journey of excellence.

This celebration was more than a ceremony — it was a powerful reminder that with the right foundation, students can rise beyond limits. The LEAP School remains committed to nurturing confident, capable learners ready to make meaningful contributions in the world.
